Job summary

CoxHealth Center Branson is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment in a 40-hour work week day shift. The role involves screening patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout each exam.

Responsibilities include administering contrast, acquiring high-quality images, and collaborating with radiology staff. ARRT certification and MRI experience or registry eligibility are required or encouraged, with strong teamwork and communication skills as essential

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Radiology.
• 1 year MRI experience or MRI training program and Registry Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner per MRI safety guidelines.
• Interview/screen patient for exam and document history.
• Explain MRI procedures to patient/family for exam success.
• Administer IV contrast and evaluate image quality for diagnostic status.

Demonstrates a thorough understanding of MRI safety zones and practices all safety guidelines. Interview/screen patient for appropriateness of exam and patient history and documents such accurately.
