Qualifications

• Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided.
• Registered through ARRT in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or MRI.
• MRI license or Apprentice license through WV board.
• Certification in MRI within 12 months of hire or ARMRIT certification upon hire.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and explains exams to patients.
• Performs all exams in specialty areas.
• Maintains knowledge of procedures in specialty areas.
• Maintains magnetic field safety requirements.
• Assists physician during specialty exams.
• Processes exams and makes them available on PACS.
• Delivers safe patient care and supports team.
