Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, acquire and post-process imaging, and archive patient data in a fast-paced Radiology department in Sacramento, CA. You will follow exam protocols under physician direction and maintain equipment in good working order.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification or CRT, BLS/CPR, contrast administration, PACS experience, and strong teamwork with radiologists and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT MRI certification and/or CRT with MRI experience.
• American Heart Association or UC Davis Health CPR certification.
• IV/Venipuncture certification and contrast administration experience.
• Experience archiving/retrieving imaging data in PACS.
• Knowledge of MRI scanners, positioning, and related anatomy.
• Ability to move patients and equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently within department protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations per established protocols.
• Ensure high-quality images and accurate data archiving.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment per manuals and safety rules.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians for patient care.
• Travel between hospital, ambulatory care, and satellite sites as needed.
