Job summary

Proforma Health Inc. in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI, MRV, and MRA procedures under physician supervision. You will position patients, optimize imaging settings, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate results.

The role requires Nebraska licensure as a Medical Radiographer, ARRT eligibility or certification, and MRI certification within 36 months of hire. CPR certification is also required for patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a radiologic technology program with ARRT certification eligibility.
• Valid State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer license.
• MRI certification within 36 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performing all types of MRI, MRV, and MRA procedures while practicing safety protocols.
• Positioning patients correctly and selecting appropriate technical settings to optimize imaging.
• Performing venipuncture and administering drugs or biologicals as needed, following hospital procedures.
• Operating MRI equipment and support systems such as HIS, RIS, PACS, and offsite radiologist services.
• Utilizing computer systems to review patient history and document studies accurately.
• Providing care to patients of all ages, maintaining confidentiality, and coordinating exams with medical staff and departments.
• Managing scheduling, answering queries courteously, and participating in quality improvement activities.
• Maintaining equipment through cleaning and disinfection, reporting issues promptly, and ensuring work areas are stocked.
