A leading academic health system in Cincinnati is seeking a full-time Registered MRI Technologist to join their radiology department. This role involves performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care. Ideal candidates will have a JRCERT-approved education, ARRT-MR licensure, and CPR/BLS certifications. Qualifications
Completion of a JRCERT‑approved program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate degree in Radiologic, Nuclear, or Sonographic Technology.
1 year of experience preferred.
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or have equivalent certifications; ARRT‑MR licensure is required.
Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
Current BLS certification for Healthcare workers.
Responsibilities
Communicates clearly with patients and staff to identify and respond to needs.
Performs MRI procedures according to established protocols.
Operates complex imaging equipment and reviews films for diagnostic acceptability.
Administers medications and provides continuous patient care.
Maintains appropriate records and participates in quality control.
