Job summary

A leading academic health system in Cincinnati is seeking a full-time Registered MRI Technologist to join their radiology department. This role involves performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care. Ideal candidates will have a JRCERT-approved education, ARRT-MR licensure, and CPR/BLS certifications. Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT‑approved program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate degree in Radiologic, Nuclear, or Sonographic Technology.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or have equivalent certifications; ARRT‑MR licensure is required.
• Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare workers.

Responsibilities

• Communicates clearly with patients and staff to identify and respond to needs.
• Performs MRI procedures according to established protocols.
• Operates complex imaging equipment and reviews films for diagnostic acceptability.
• Administers medications and provides continuous patient care.
• Maintains appropriate records and participates in quality control.
