Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian MRI Technologist to support the Sierra Nevada Health Care System in Reno, NV. The role involves performing routine and advanced MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and coordinating scheduling and quality control.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT registration; MR certification preferred or required by VA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration and current certification required; ARRT (MR) preferred/required per VA and facility.
• Experience performing MRI examinations in hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced MRI examinations with emphasis on patient safety, comfort and privacy.
• Review medical records and interview patients to identify MRI contraindications.
• Select and optimize MRI pulse sequences and imaging parameters to demonstrate pathology.
