Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian MRI Technologist to support SNHCS in Reno, Nevada. The role involves performing MRI exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and coordinating with radiology staff.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT/MR certification, and experience with PACS and EMR systems. On-site, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration and MR certification per VA/facility requirements.
• Experience performing MRI examinations in a hospital, outpatient, or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of MRI safety policies and procedures, including patient screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced MRI exams ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Review records and interview patients to assess contra-indications.
• Optimize pulse sequences and imaging parameters for diagnostic quality.
• Coordinate MRI scheduling and monitor image transmission via PACS.
• Assist with MRI safety training and QA activities.
