AMI is seeking a Full-time MRI Technologist to join the outpatient radiology practice at the Galloway location. The role involves operating the MR scanner, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with Radiologists to follow scanning protocols. A $15 per hour shift differential applies after 8pm on weekdays.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited MRI program and be ARRT or ARMRIT registered. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; in-house training is provided.

• Perform quality control testing, calibrations, warm-up and shutdown with proper documentation.
• Advise on maintenance needs to Chief Technologist/Office Administrator.
• Participate in meetings, in-service programs and continuing education.
• Respond to codes and ensure safety and security.
• Demonstrate competency with patients of all ages.
• Perform other duties as required.

AMI is seeking a Full time, 40 hour per week MRI Technologist to join the team in the AMI Galloway office location. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.The MRI Technologist is responsible for, but not limited to:Operating all aspects of MR scanning unit, incorporating extensive knowledge of system’s computer and all program modalities to perform scanning procedures and transfer images to film or software for interpretation;Evaluating screening to ensure patient safety in the magnetic field;Consulting with the Radiologist and implementing proper scanning protocols as directed;Completing daily work schedule, documenting in Zotec and on any required forms;Monitoring patient flow and accommodating unscheduled patients and add-on studies;As per office policy, performing all quality control testing, equipment calibrations, warm-up and shut down procedures with proper documentation;Advising the Chief Technologist/Office Administrator of the need for all maintenance, service and repair work;Participating in office meetings, in-service programs, continuing education programs and other designated activity;Responding to office codes, policies and procedures to ensure optimum patient, employee, visitor and physical plant safety and security;Demonstrating competency in dealing with patients in all age categories: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric; andPerforming all other duties as required and assigned.This full time, 40 hour per week position will provide coverage in the AMI Galloway office location.The work schedule includes the following four (4) - ten (10) hour shifts:Monday OffTuesday, 8:30am-7pmWednesday, 12:30pm-11pmThursday, 12:30pm-11pmFriday, 9:30am-8pmSchedules are subject to change based on business needs.Candidates for this position must be a graduate of an accredited MRI program and are registered in MRI by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or ARMRIT. Current and valid American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to start of employment. Previous experience or certification in venipuncture preferred for the injection of contrast media via butterfly needle and IV catheter. If not currently trained/certified, must be willing to obtain. In-house training will be provided.Exceptional communication skills, including interpersonal, verbal, and written, are necessary for success in this position.
