Located at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, part of Duke University Hospital since 1998, we serve Wake County with comprehensive services including cancer, cardiovascular, neuroscience, gastrointestinal, and wound care.

Position Details

• Schedule: Weekdays, Tuesday through Friday, with shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours
• Opportunities for PRN, full-time, and weekend shifts across multiple locations

Responsibilities

• Perform complex, technical tasks with high field strength magnets
• Screen patients for MR safety and assist radiologists with procedures
• Start IVs, administer contrast media, evaluate scan quality, and ensure proper labeling
• Schedule patients, manage billing in EHR, and maintain accurate records
• Load and operate power injectors, provide patient orientation, and train new technologists
• Support research and protocol development within Duke Health System

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program meeting registry/certification eligibility or hold current certification (e.g., ARRT, ARMRIT, or equivalent)
• For Level I: Obtain ARRT or ARMRIT certification within 18 months
• For Level II: Minimum of two years' MRI tech experience
• For Level III: Minimum of four years' experience in the specialty modality
• BLS certification required
