RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. We aim to innovate in radiology by emphasizing its importance in diagnosis and treatment. Join us and contribute to brighter outcomes!

As an MRI Technologist, you will operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, providing patient-centered care and excellent customer service. You will guide patients through procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding.

This is a part-time position (~32 hours/week), primarily on swing shifts with some day shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Screens patients for precautions or contraindications, using two identifiers for accuracy.
  2. Prepares and explains MRI procedures to patients, ensuring proper positioning.
  3. Performs routine and advanced MRI scans with minimal supervision, supporting patient comfort.
  4. Adjusts scan parameters as needed.
  5. Maintains positive relationships with colleagues and referring physicians.
  6. Follows physician orders and safety regulations to ensure safety.
  7. Maintains accurate patient records in RIS.
  8. Keeps work area clean and safe.
  9. Adheres to ACR accreditation standards.
  10. Maintains and disinfects equipment.
  11. Ensures HIPAA compliance.
Department Support
  1. Assists with protocol updates and software upgrades.
  2. Monitors supplies and requests replenishments.
  3. Supports training of new staff.
Additional Tasks

Performs other duties as assigned.
