Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform a range of MRI procedures with a focus on safety and accuracy. The role involves patient information collection, image acquisition, and coordinated use of RIS/PACS and EPIC for documentation.
The ideal candidate holds AMA-approved Radiology tech or MRI program accreditation, BLS and ARRT credentials, and 1–2 years hospital experience. Flexibility for overtime and coverage across sites is required.

Under the supervision of the Process Manager and Section Head performs a variety of routine and advanced MRI procedures in the presence of a strong magnetic field while monitoring and maintaining essential patient care and safety. Flexibility to work overtime/cover other than assigned shifts and other sites as needed. Holiday and on-call rotation mandatory.

Education: Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technology or MRI Program
Licensure, Certification, Registration: BLS; and ARRT; Maintains licensure and CEUs' on an annual basis. If previously trained must obtain MRI registry within 12 months of employment, if cross training MRI certification exam must be taken within 18 months and completed within 24 months . The following licenses are approved to work as an MRI: AART(MR); ARMRIT; ARRT(CT); ARRT(R)
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Candidate must be proficient in Cross Sectional Anatomy, the use of MRI Scanners/power injectors/venipuncture or in the absence of this skill the ability to be trained to a level of competency.
Candidate must be proficient in Magnet safety.
Experience: 1-2 years experience in a hospital setting preferred. Good working knowledge of PACS or in the absence of this skill the ability to be trained to a level of competency.
$48.00 - $71.33
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
