$15k Sign on Bonus!

Schedule: Monday: Lee Campus 7:30a-6p; Friday: Dover Main Campus 12:30p-11p; Saturday: Dover Main Campus 8a-8:30p.

Summary

Responsible for providing quality patient care and producing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures safely while operating MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

Essential Functions
  • Position and immobilize patients and select appropriate technical factors, including computer reformatting of data to produce high-quality MRI scans.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including transportation, transfer, immobilization, and positioning.
  • Explain procedures considering patients' physical and emotional needs.
  • Prepare and clean equipment and scanner room; stock supplies as needed.
  • Perform daily quality assurance on MRI scanners and verify the safe operation of all patient equipment; report malfunctions and repairs.
  • Maintain relevant records.
  • Assist new staff or students as needed.
Qualifications

Education

Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging required. This role does not accept experience in lieu of a degree.

Licenses and Credentials

  • Radiologic Technologist License (State License)
  • ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS Certification
  • ARRT-MR (MRI specialization)
  • Magnetic Resonance Tech (NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy)

Experience

1-2 years of MRI Tech experience with multiple patient populations required.
