Job summary

Fairfax Radiology Centers in Ballston, VA is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 3-day workweek. The role involves performing Brain, Body, MSK, Breast, and MR Neurogram exams using Philips 3T MRI systems. Schedule: Sat & Sun 6:30 AM–7:00 PM; Mon 12:30 PM–11:00 PM. No holidays or call. Full-time with benefits.

You will bring MRI experience or training, ARRT/MR certification, and a current BLS certificate to ensure safe, high-quality imaging and strong patient care.

Qualifications

• 6+ months MRI experience OR completion of an MRI training program.
• ARRT (R) or MRI certification OR ARMRIT certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong technical skills with excellent patient care abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and specialty MRI exams (Brain, Body, MSK, Breast, MR Neurogram).
• Operate Philips 3T MRI technology with precision.
• Provide patient-centered service and maintain professionalism throughout imaging.
• Maintain accurate imaging records and follow clinical protocols.
