Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures in a part-time, on-site role. The incumbent will operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and adhere to established protocols. Prior MRI experience and ARRT MR credentials are preferred.

The role offers a one-year commitment with a $500 sign-on bonus for new hires and a comprehensive benefits package. Hours are on the 2nd shift, with a per diem employment classification and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Prior MRI experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration with MR experience or equivalent MR supervision required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI studies following radiologists' protocols.
• Ensure proper room setup, patient assessment, and venipuncture for contrast as needed.
• Provide safe, compassionate patient care and effective communication with staff and patients.
• Follow safety guidelines and Virtua policies during MRI procedures.
