Job summary

Hartford HealthCare MRI department in Hartford is seeking a motivated MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams in a Level One Trauma Center. You will prepare and position patients, inject contrast media, and select imaging parameters to support diagnosis.

You’ll work with three GE High Field Scanners, provide patient care around the clock, and contribute to a team that advances education, simulation and innovation across the hospital network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or graduate from ARMRIT with an Associate Degree with focus in medical image preferably MRI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams in the hospital by selecting parameters according to established protocols for diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients; inject contrast media as needed.
• Select anatomic and technical parameters to produce cross‑sectional images.
