Primary Responsibilities:

1. Use MRI scanner protocols tailored to individual patient needs and examination requirements.
2. Screen patients prior to scans for contraindications, including implanted devices.
3. Explain procedures and monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort during scans.
4. Start IVs and administer contrast agents as needed.
5. Evaluate images for technical quality.
6. Maintain cleanliness of the scanner and equipment following infection control policies.
7. Perform MRI quality control and document medical requirements.

Required Qualifications:

1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
2. Completion of an imaging technology course approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
3. Active WA state license or pending application.
4. Current ARRT certification and board certification or eligibility in MRI (certification must be obtained within one year of hire).

Compensation is competitive and based on factors such as experience, education, and certifications. The hourly pay ranges from $40.00 to $60.00, with comprehensive benefits including incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions.
