Job summary

Baptist Health in Miami offers a MRI technologist role with scope to perform a variety of MRI procedures across age groups, ensuring quality images and patient safety. The position participates in continuous improvement and focuses on patient satisfaction and appropriate care.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT MRI or ARMRIT, ARRT Radiography and Basic Life Support, and have a minimum of 1 year in acute care. High school or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Licenses and certifications listed below are required.
• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides a variety of MRI procedures for all age groups served.
• Safely ensures quality images and patient safety.
• Participates in department quality improvement processes.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients.

Description

Provides a variety of MRI procedures on all age groups served by the entity. Safely ensures quality images. Participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients. Estimated pay range for this position is $39.13 - $50.87 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• ARRT Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• ARMRIT MRI Technologist .
• Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.

Additional Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Advanced ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required - RT MR ARRT registered technologist or ARMIT certification.
• Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred.
