Job summary

Qualifications

• AMA/JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• MRI training or experience preferred.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required at hire.
• Certification to be obtained within two years post-hire preferred.
• Licensure if working in North Dakota (ND) may be required.
• IA permit to practice for work in Iowa.
• BLS within six weeks of employment and recertified as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MRI exams with professional judgment.
• Initiates life support measures as necessary and ensures safety.
• Interacts effectively with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Documents in EMR for scheduling and billing.
• Obtains patient history and clinical indication for MRI study.
• Maintains knowledge of cross-section anatomy for patient care.
• May participate in on-call rotation at rural facilities.
