Department: University Hospital | Magnetic Resonance Imaging
The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging exams for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. The role includes patient education and quality assessment activities for the division, under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.
For Hire: In the hospital setting: Current Radiography license, ARRT (R). An advanced registry in MRI is preferred. A current Radiography ODH license is required, or MR-only Certified ARRT (MR). Previous MRI Technologist experience is preferred.
In the Ambulatory (Outreach) setting: Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Current Radiography ODH license required. Previous MRI Technologist experience is preferred. Advanced registry in MRI is preferred.
Ongoing: Maintain registry & licensing status; meet mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrate competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills necessary to perform essential job functions.
