Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking an MRI Technologist to collaborate with physicians and radiologists to perform MRI exams, ensure protocol accuracy, and support equipment maintenance.

The role requires BLS and MRI certification, with a preference for 2 years of MRI experience. Shift is Mon-Fri, 12:30 PM–9:00 PM, with a $10K sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required by first day of employment.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT MRI certification required by hire.
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for accuracy and MRI appropriateness.
• Perform MRI exams per protocol and ensure proper labeling in patient records.
• Administer IV contrast as appropriate and monitor for adverse reactions.
• QC testing and reporting issues to service engineer/biomed and leadership.
• Educate and orient new hires and students on procedures and safety.
