Join our team as a Senior MRI Technologist. Deliver top-tier MRI services in this dynamic 12-month parental cover fixed-term role in beautiful Kapiti.

Radiographer Wellington

  • 12-month fixed-term parental cover in the recently renovated Kapiti Branch
  • 5 weeks annual leave, 5 days domestic leave + 10 days sick leave each year

We have a great opportunity for a 12-month parental leave fixed-term contract for a Senior MRI to join our hardworking team in Kapiti. This senior role is responsible for contributing to an efficient MRI service of the highest quality and supporting the Charge MRI in providing exceptional MRI services to patients, referrers, and funders.

A typical day in this role could include:

  • Performing MRI imaging using safe practice techniques and protocols
  • Completing MRI analysis according to standards
  • Managing booking systems to maximize available appointments
  • Compiling rosters and pay sheets for MRI staff in consultation with the Charge MRI
  • Overseeing staff and student training within the MRI department
  • Ensuring equipment maintenance and reporting issues

Ideally, you’ll have experience as an MRI Tech with advanced knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and procedures. You should also have:
