Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced imaging environment.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, state license if applicable, and BLS certification. Prior imaging experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and state license where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certification may be required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Ensure patient safety by following policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV for optimal images.
• Guide patients through exam procedures with clear communication.
• Respond to physician questions about patients.

You Will

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Rate: $38.00 - $58.00 / Per Hour
