Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dedicated radiology team in California. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast as needed.

The position emphasizes patient communication, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with physicians to achieve the best clinical outcomes. ARRT MR certification and BLS are required; licensure may apply, with at least one year of imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• Must have BLS certification; venipuncture may be required depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, safely and effectively.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV for quality images.
• Guide patients through the process with clear explanations.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard medications and patient information on site.
• Respect company property and patient financial information.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public.

When you join us as an MRI Technologist you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
