Rochester Regional Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with the radiology team in Rochester, NY. You will educate patients about procedures, document exams in the EMR, and participate in on-call coverage and room maintenance.
The role requires ARRT-R, NY licensure eligibility, and BLS/Injection certifications, with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient-centered care.

As an MRI Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality greatly enhance the overall success of MRI imaging for diagnostic use in patient care in RRH Radiology. Performs technical and specialized skills in the operation of a Magnetic Resonance (MRI) Scanner to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures.
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or completion of a Radiologic Technology hospital certificate program. New Graduates: Official transcript from an accredited school or a letter emailed directly from the school's registrar's office confirming program completion will be accepted upon graduation. Primary source education verification required within 90 days of start date. Required Licensure/Certification: NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) required within 6 months of employment. NYS Injection Certification within 6 months of employment. BLS Certification within 6 months of employment.

$34.25 - $45.25 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14626 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
