Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking an MRI Technologist for the evening shift. You will deliver high-quality MRI procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout exams.

Requirements include ARRT registration in good standing, an associate degree in radiologic technology, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred: ARRT (R)(MR) with prior healthcare experience; work under the radiology supervisor.

Qualifications

• Registered by the ARRT (R) in good standing.
• Associates degree from an accredited school of radiology technology.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred ARRT (R)(MR) with prior work experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality MRI procedures and other duties as required.
• Prioritize customer service and safety in all patient interactions.
• Support radiology department and report to radiology supervisor and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through the execution of high-quality MRI procedures and additional duties as required.
• Consistently prioritize customer service and safety in all patient interactions as an MRI Technologist.
• Enhance departmental quality through active participation in performance improvement initiatives while providing support to the radiology department and reporting directly to the radiology supervisor.
