The University of Kansas Health System in Olathe, KS, is seeking an MRI Technologist for the Olathe Medical Pavilion C to produce high-quality MR images and ensure patient safety. The role involves 4 x 10 hour shifts from 9:30am to 8:00pm, with responsibilities across multiple locations within the health system.
Requirements include AMA-approved Radiologic Technology or MR imaging program completion, ARRT MR certification within 180 days, and BLS at hire, plus strong MR safety knowledge and
Position Summary / Career Interest: The MRI technologist is responsible for producing quality MR images while providing optimal patient care and applying all principles of patient safety. MRI technologists are expected to participate in on-going training and education relating to positioning, technique and MRI safety guidelines. MR procedures are performed at multiple locations across the health system; this person shall maintain a patient-centered focus and strive to support the mission, goals and values of University of Kansas Health System and radiology department. Note: Schedule/hours is four 10 hour shifts 9:30am-8:00pm.
