Job summary

Strategic Resilience Group LLC is actively seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to conduct MRI examinations, screen patients, and align imaging parameters with protocols. The role requires expert knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and strict MRI safety standards.

You will work with contrast media, power injectors, and PACS, ensuring diagnostic quality while maintaining patient care and documentation across VA systems. A licensed radiologic professional with ARRT MR is essential.

Qualifications

  • Current Radiologic Technologist license.
  • ARRT Radiography – R certification.
  • Advanced ARRT certification in MRI (MR).
  • Minimum 3 years of advanced modality experience.
  • Current BLS.
  • Strong MRI safety knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Experience with MRI contrast media, power injectors, and PACS.
  • Ability to independently perform assigned MRI duties.
  • Ability to complete VA credentialing and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols.
  • Screen and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
  • Position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters.
  • Select and properly use radio-frequency surface coils.
  • Apply specialized knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Maintain MRI safety requirements for patients, staff, visitors, and equipment.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media within applicable scope.
  • Operate power injectors.
  • Work with PACS and digital imaging systems.
  • Evaluate studies for technical quality and diagnostic adequacy.
  • Monitor patients throughout examinations and report significant changes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in VA clinical systems.
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and equipment-cleaning requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Current, full, and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist license
  • ARRT certification in Radiography – R
  • Advanced ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance – MR
  • Minimum 3 years of advanced modality experience
  • Current BLS
  • Strong MRI safety knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Experience with MRI contrast media, power injectors, and PACS
  • Ability to independently perform assigned MRI duties
  • Ability to complete VA credentialing and onboarding requirements
