Job Summary and Qualifications

• Performs high-quality MRI scans on patients of all ages under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment following safety standards and guidelines.
• Participates in departmental improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology technology program.
• ARRT certification.
• MRI certification through ARRT required by December 31, 2012.
• Current BLS provider certification (AHA or ARC).
• For cross-training employees, training will be supervised; certification in an alternate modality is required within 6 months.
