Job summary

RadNet in Stockton, CA is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our patient-focused imaging team. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, prioritize patient safety, and collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate imaging results.

The role requires ARRT(MR) certification, state licensure if applicable, BLS, and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience. Venipuncture may be required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness and other factors to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the process with clear, compassionate communication.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and property.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy and legal requirements.

You Will:

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Pay Rate: $38.00 - $58.00 / Per Hour
