Job summary

Hmixray is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist in California to perform high quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety. You will administer contrast when needed and adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state licensure where applicable, and BLS. Experience of at least one year in diagnostic imaging is preferred, with a focus on compassionate patient interaction.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology where applicable.
• BLS certification is required; venipuncture certification may be state dependent.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

You Will:

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range:

$26.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
