Job summary

Barrington Orthopedic Specialists seeks a full-time MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at Schaumburg and Bartlett, IL. The role requires HITACHI ECHELON 1.5T experience, ARRT MRI certification, and BLS, with emphasis on patient safety and accurate imaging.

You will perform MRI procedures, venipuncture for contrast, and work with Athena and PACS EMR systems in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current/valid ARRT MRI certification.
• BLS credentialed from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Venipuncture and contrast administration per policy.
• Navigate EMR information systems.
• MRI Orthopedic experience: 2 years required.
• Experience with Athena and PACS is a plus.
• Must have HITACHI ECH Coalition 1.5T experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations at Schaumburg and Bartlett locations.
• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening and research.
• Administer contrast media per policy and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff.

Barrington Orthopedic Specialists was established in 1980 with a philosophy of treating patients as you would want to be treated. Requirements :

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE ON HITACHI ECHELON 1.5T

• Current/valid certification by ARRT (R)) (MRI)

Salary Range :

$36.00 - $42.00 depending on experience.
