Role Description The MRI Technologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Savannah, GA. This role is responsible for performing MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. Day-to-day tasks include preparing patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and operating MRI equipment. The MRI Technologist will screen patients for contraindications, monitor patient comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate diagnoses. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, following radiation safety and infection control guidelines, documenting procedures in the imaging system, and contributing to a positive, efficient workflow in the imaging department.
