Duties And Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality images in accordance with departmental standards.
- Demonstrate competence in a variety of equipment and technology.
- Adhere to safety guidelines for all involved parties.
- Foster a collaborative environment through effective communication.
- Maintain flexibility to work at various locations and shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Education and Certification
Applicants must be graduates of an ARRT-approved or recognized Health Science program. Those hired before February 15, 2018, should meet previous requirements, graduating from an accredited radiography, sonography, or nuclear medicine program. Candidates should be organized, efficient, and capable of multitasking independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- ARRT certified in Magnetic Resonance (MR) (preferred), Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), CNMT, or ARDMS, or registry eligible with certification obtained before employment start date.
- Annual documentation of technical certification is required.
- Those pursuing post-primary certification must obtain ARRT (MR) certification within 18 months of employment.
