Job summary

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI, radiographic and related procedures with independent judgment. The role supports various modalities and may involve OR or invasive procedures as needed.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT-MR and ARRT-R certifications and a Radiologic Technologist credential, plus Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment. Hospital benefits and a comprehensive rewards package are included.

Responsibilities

• Produce MRI exams and radiographs per established standards.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Tech performs MRI, radiographic and special procedures at level not requiring supervision of technical detail, performing a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.

• The MRI Tech must be able to assists in specialty areas (ie. O.R., Invasive.)

• Is capable of assuming full responsibility for one or more modalities in MRI and Radiology

• Produces MRI exams and images, as well as radiographs in accordance with established standards.

• Positions, transfers and provides immobilization assistance as required.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
