Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will administer contrast when needed and adjust imaging parameters to yield excellent images.

You will support physicians with timely information and guide patients through the exam process with clear explanations. The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state radiologic license if applicable, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
  • BLS/CPR certification is required.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understand and adjust MRI parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, FOV) to produce high quality images.
  • Guide patients through the exam process with clear explanations and address questions.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

You Will
  • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
  • ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable

Pay range is $37.00 -$48.00
