Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced radiology setting. You will administer contrast, adjust imaging parameters, and guide patients through the exam while addressing questions from physicians and patients.

The role emphasizes professionalism, safeguarding patient information, and cooperation with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, and FOV to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process, answering questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

You Will:

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $34.00-$50.00/Per Hour
