Job summary

Proforma Health seeks a radiology professional to operate MRI and radiology scanners, preparing patients and selecting imaging parameters. You will ensure data integrity, enter patient information, and promptly submit high-quality images to PACS.

The role requires certification in MRI/radiology tech and strong attention to detail, safety, and communication. No prior experience is required, and physical stamina is essential for patient handling and daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Completion of MRI or Radiology Technology program.
  • Certification such as BLS, ARRT-MR, or ARMRIT.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and safety awareness.

  • Prepare and position patients for imaging.
  • Schedule and educate patients about examinations.
  • Enter, monitor, and transfer patient data and images.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
  • Ensure high-quality images are submitted to PACS with accurate markers and data.
  • Maintain equipment functionality and report issues.
  • Keep department areas clean and organized.
  • Work safely and perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Role:

Operates MRI and radiology scanners to produce diagnostic images for medical assessment.

Responsibilities Include
  • Preparing and positioning patients, selecting appropriate technical parameters for imaging.
  • Performing patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education about examinations.
  • Entering, monitoring, and transferring patient data and images.
  • Administering contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
  • Ensuring high-quality images are promptly submitted to PACS with accurate markers and data.
  • Maintaining equipment functionality and reporting issues.
  • Keeping department areas clean and organized.
  • Working safely and performing additional duties as assigned.
