Job summary

Medix in Bronx, NY is seeking an MRI Technologist for a multi-site outpatient imaging system. You will perform MRI exams per protocols and travel between regional locations.

ARRT MRI certification and NY license are required; 40-hour week (8–4 or 9–5); IV access and gadolinium administration experience; Siemens MRI experience; relocation bonus offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification and NY license are required.
• Outpatient MRI experience in high-volume settings is preferred.
• Proficiency with IV contrast administration and patient safety.
• Willingness to travel between regional locations as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient and diagnostic MRI examinations per imaging protocols.
• Establish IV access and administer gadolinium contrast safely.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and implants before scanning.
• Prepare patients and manage coil positioning and comfort.
• Travel between regional sites as scheduled.
• Maintain efficient schedule and patient flow in dynamic settings.
• Work a 40-hour week with 8–9 hour shifts (8–4 or 9–5).
• Utilize Siemens MRI systems and ensure safety standards.

MRI Technologist (256590) Bronx, New York

Salary: USD3000 - USD3400 per week + $700 Relocation bonus for roundtrip.

• Perform high-quality outpatient and diagnostic MRI examinations following standardized imaging protocols.
• Establish intravenous (IV) access and administer gadolinium contrast media independently and safely.
• Perform comprehensive patient screening for MRI safety (Zone 3/Zone 4 protocols, implants, metallic objects) prior to entering the scanner room.
• Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures clearly, and manage coil positioning and patient comfort.
• Travel between designated regional clinical locations within a multi-site outpatient imaging system as scheduled.
• Maintain efficient schedule integrity and patient flow in dynamic outpatient settings.
• Open to 13 week long contract to start
• ARRT MRI and NY license
• Outpatient setting experience within a high volume setting
• 40 hour work week from either 8-4 or 9-5 schedule
• IV , BLS and Siemens experience
