Job Description

We are hiring at Starling Physicians, a VillageMD company!

$10,000 Signing Bonus Available (12-month Claw Back)

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs MR examinations with a sound understanding of anatomy, protocols, and equipment to produce optimal results.
• Manages delivery of care and ensures patient safety.
• Prepares patients for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
• Assesses and screens patients for potential risks, documenting relevant history and information.
• Follows departmental protocols unless directed otherwise by the Radiologist.
• Ensures proper identification of patient demographics.
• Communicates with attending Radiologist and verifies provider orders.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
• Maintains MRI room cleanliness and adheres to infection control standards.
• Prioritizes and organizes work, adjusting as needed.
• Exercises safety precautions for patients and staff.
• Conducts routine quality control checks on equipment.
• Prepares and assists with contrast material administration.

General Job Functions:

• Demonstrates knowledge of safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
• Performs regular quality control activities.
• Experience with power injectors is preferred.
• Attends departmental meetings.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education, Certification, and Training Requirements:

• BLS certification required.
• 1-3 years of experience required.
• Graduated from an accredited MRI program with current MRI certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required; IV certification preferred.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with EMR, RIS, and PACS systems.
