Job summary

Hmixray is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced radiology environment. You will guide patients through procedures, administer contrast when needed, and collaborate with physicians to meet clinical goals.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state license if applicable, and BLS. A minimum of one year in diagnostic imaging is preferred; on-site work in Modesto, CA is expected.

Qualifications

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
  • State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology may be required.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
  • At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other parameters to produce high quality images.
  • Guide patients through the exam process and answer questions and concerns.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Safeguard patient information and company property on site.
  • Safeguards medications on site per policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients and families in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will:
  • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Pay Rate: $38.00 - $58.00 / Per Hour
