Job summary

RadNet in Burbank, CA is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dedicated radiology team. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, prioritize patient safety, and follow established protocols while providing clear explanations to patients during the exam process.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license, and BLS. A venipuncture certificate may be needed depending on state regulations; one year of imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • Must have BLS certification.
  • A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.

You Will

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
  • Must have BLS certification
  • A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $26.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
