The Team:

Our MRI Technologists support the organization with their commitment to excellence, providing a professional and caring atmosphere while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked clinical environment.

The Role:

• Follow all policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Inform patients about their exams to their understanding.
• Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications.
• Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort.
• Maintain visual and verbal contact during exams.
• Perform scans according to protocols.
• Administer intravenous contrast.
• Complete all documentation related to exams.
• Record data accurately.
• Provide films/CDs when appropriate.
• Forward data and films/CDs to radiologists.
• Assist clerical staff as needed.
• Clean and resupply equipment and rooms.
• Adhere to licensing and credentialing requirements.

Qualifications:

Prior MRI scanning experience is required, along with MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications and excellent interpersonal skills. Additional requirements include:

• Extended computer use
• Assisting patients with mobility difficulties
• Participation in call schedules at some locations
• Pushing, pulling, and lifting at least 25 pounds
