+ Shift Details: Thursday-Friday 0900-2130, Saturday 0700-1930 with rotating call

+ Hours: Full-Time (36 hours)

+ Additional Details: Shift differentials given for evenings, nights and weekends

**Who We Are:** Good Samaritan Hospital (https://www.sclhealth.org/locations/good-samaritan-medical-center/about/) is a community-based, acute-care hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. We opened on December 1, 2004, and are part of Intermountain Health, a nonprofit health system. Our patients and families are the center of every thought, communication and action that takes place in this healing space.

**Scope:**

+ Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies.

+ Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of the principals and physics of magnetic resonance imaging.

+ Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.

+ Receive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient, perform IV puncture, and administer IV contrast agent when indicated.

+ Independently perform and complete routine examinations.

+ Meet the needs of the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination and documentation ensuring safety, care, courtesy and efficiency.

+ Actively participate in quality initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction, highest level of patient care and workflow efficiencies.

**Qualifications:**

+ Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or one year minimum related experience and/or training, required- Current ARRT (R) or (MR)

+ Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required

+ Ability to interact with people of all ages, required- At least one (1) year of experience as a MRI Technologist, preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$37.46 - $57.80
