Job summary

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MR imaging in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.

You will follow established procedures, maintain patient records, and support the clinical team during imaging workflows. Per diem status and day shifts, with competitive compensation. La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is part of Prime Healthcare, serving the La Palma community.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and remain current.
• Must be a graduate of a ARRT approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The MRI Technologist is responsible for the performance of MR imaging, accurately and per procedures and policies.
• Follows MRI safety precautions and regulatory guidelines; maintains professional standards and ethics.
• Contributes to patient care by accessing information, processing images, ensuring correct images, and documenting exams in the department system.

Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist is responsible for the performance of all aspects of MR imaging, accurately and in accordance with established procedures and policies in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all groups. Follows all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions. Maintains professional standards of conduct an ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Contributes to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information, processes images, assures correct images, accurate billing and file documentation, records information related to exams into department computer system. Performs other activities in support of clinical team members when not engaged in imaging activities.

Pay Transparency

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $38.06 to $38.06. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
