Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced radiology environment. You will work with a dedicated team to administer contrast, adjust imaging parameters, and guide patients through the exam process with professionalism and care.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with physicians and staff in a modern imaging center.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, and other parameters to produce high-quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient PHI and on-site medications in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct toward patients and coworkers.

You Will:

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
