The MRI Technologist position is responsible for knowing his/her professional scope of practice as defined by the California Business and Professional Code and for satisfactorily completing the Dignity Health Medical Foundation orientation period. This includes demonstrating skills and behaviors that meet a fully competent level of performance. MRI Technologists maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment and perform patient care services supporting the physician/provider's practice under supervision. Responsibilities include prepping patients for MRI exams, relaying instructions from radiologists, collecting patient data, documenting concerns and messages, and performing diagnostic medical imaging. May be required to work in other modalities with appropriate licensure and occasionally at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area.
