• Licensure in BLS and one of the specified certifications.

Job Details

• Hospital: Ascension St. Vincent's Saint Johns Hospital
• Location: Saint Johns, FL
• Department: Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• Schedule: PRN; Rotating Shifts

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of MRI experience
• Must be able to take 4-5 call shifts a month, including one weekend
• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS, and one of the following: Cardiographic Tech (CCI), Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
• Education: High School diploma with 2 years of experience or Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

1. Operate MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images
2. Prepare and position patients, select parameters for imaging
3. Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education
4. Manage patient data, transfer images, develop films
5. Follow safety procedures and ensure image quality
6. Maintain equipment functionality and report issues
7. Keep department clean and organized
