Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations with independent judgment and to assume responsibility for designated areas as required. The role requires formal radiologic technology training and licensure in Washington at hire, plus BLS and ARRT MRI/Radiography credentials.

The successful candidate will typically have within one year eligibility for MRI-specific credentials and may advance with additional MRI certifications.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology training completed.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license required on hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification on hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification on hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: MRI technologist credential (NRT-MRI or ABR MRI).
• National Registered Technologist titles in radiography or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of MRI procedures with independent judgment.
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures.

• Within 1 year of hire:
• National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging --or--
• National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, with one year of experience in an MRI department
