Job description

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physicians' instructions and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will ensure patient comfort, operate MRI equipment, and maintain high standards of quality and safety in all imaging processes.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze patient histories and screen for pacemakers or injuries involving metal objects
• Prepare and administer contrast dyes as required
• Address patient concerns and ensure a calm, comfortable environment during scans
• Position patients and perform MRI scans in accordance with physician specifications
• Conduct regular inspections of MRI equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs
• Keep MRI rooms clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Train and support junior MRI Technologists and new staff members
• Write detailed reports and escalate concerns to appropriate stakeholders
• Carry out quality assurance procedures and implement process improvements as needed

Required Qualifications
• Proven experience operating MRI equipment
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and patient care standards
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment
• Willingness to mentor and train junior staff

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in a clinical imaging setting
• Experience with contrast dye administration and patient screening procedures
