Job Summary
• The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort while operating MRI equipment, specifically GE systems.
• Collaborates with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver accurate and timely imaging results.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform MRI scans following established protocols and physician orders.
• Operate GE MRI systems efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient status and respond to any concerns during exams.
• Adhere to all imaging safety standards, including MRI safety screenings.
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of MRI equipment and work area.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure image quality and proper patient care.

Required Qualifications
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience.
• Proficient in using GE MRI systems.
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster required.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in hospital or outpatient imaging environments.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Certifications
• ARRT (MR) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
